**Requires 1-120V circuit that will be on the generator as well as
utility. Smart Delay Uses: - Stagger each A/C 20 seconds apart to save money on utility bill.
- Stagger each A/C 20 seconds apart to size down a generator's in-rush needs.
- Stagger ANYTHING controlled by 24VAC up to 10A, 20 seconds apart, up to 16 devices.
- May use as an overload using 1 input as overload, the unit will stagger each device off until overload has been satisfied.
Note: 20 seconds is standard and may be changed up or down.
The Load Shed A/C Smart
Delay
staggers how air conditioning turns on. Whether there are 2 or 16 air
conditioners, the Load Shed A/C Smart Delay will Stagger each air
conditioner 20 seconds apart, thus lowering the surge needed from a
generator, allowing to size down a generator to handle more air
conditioning. During
utility, the Load Shed A/C Smart Delay will still stagger each air
conditioner keeping that electric meter from spinning out of control
along with your monthly bill.
Each Load Shed A/C Smart Delay module can accept from up to 4 air
conditioners. Modules may be added to accept additional air conditioning up to 16 units at once.
Load Shed A/C Smart Delays are pre-programmed for your convenience and ease
of installation. The program is password protected for the protection of
accidental changes.
